1. Go Find The Food
Great for: Beginners, Mealtime enrichment, Indoors
- Show your dog a few pieces of dry food or treat.
- Ask them to stay or distract them briefly.
- Hide the food in visible but slightly challenging spots, e.g under the carpet edge, behind a chair leg, behind a cushion, etc.
- Say ‘Go find!’ and let them sniff their way to success.
Level up: Make the hiding spots trickier.
2. Find The Human
Great for: Bonding, Recall, Indoors and Outdoors
- Have someone your dog knows go out of sight.
- Hold your dog for a second and then say “Go find [XYZ]!”
- When they succeed, the person should praise them.
